Ever since it was founded in 1980, Arcade has continually integrated the many advances made in implantology. However, its philosophy concerning the equipment and restorative materials used has remained the same, namely the application of selection criteria guaranteeing reliability, improved quality, and the possibilities for evolution. Particular attention is paid to CAD/CAM technologies, today an important sector of our activity, that are the object of constant technological monitoring since having been adopted in 2009. Running counter to fads and “innovation at any cost”, Arcade is committed to providing durable restorative solutions.
Today’s Arcade Team is an example of a successful combination of talent and skills acquired over time. A solid group of team members present from the start has gradually been enriched by new employees formed in various domains. Our involvement in the training of future laboratory technicians means that we are constantly aware of their needs and the means required to transmit essential information. The wide variety of techniques and technologies used in our laboratory allows each technician to excel in the field of his or her choice. Precision fit, a more “mechanical” approach to implant dentistry, emphasis on the creative dimension of cosmetic dental work, a more virtual approach to CAD/CAM… all team members can find an area in which to excel.
Founder of Arcade, Laurent Morin began his professional career in a dental laboratory integrated in a dental office. A decade working in close proximity with specialists in implant and cosmetic dentistry brought first-hand knowledge of the various and complex problems encountered and the often demanding nature of patient requests. These highly formative and rewarding ten years prompted him to expand his range of activity by creating his own dental laboratory. More than a mere entrepreneurial adventure, this decision was prompted by the desire to change from a “single client” universe to a wider range of experiences and encounters, a richer professional life conducive to constant improvement and reassessment of challenges associating creativity, technical expertise and technology monitoring.
A highly diverse array of techniques combining manual and digital skills; a broad range of restorative materials authorizing both “purist” and “composite” approaches… these factors allow our laboratory to individualize each case. Methodically, of course, but without restriction to a single method. This is all the more important because several solutions are often possible for a given situation. Constructive discussions with the dentist are also essential to arrive at a suitable final decision. In practice, mutual sharing of knowledge, expertise and skills is a key to achievement of the best results.
